PORTER – EKAS (Job Code: 20548)
As a Porter, you’ll play a vital role in supporting ground operations and delivering a smooth and seamless airport experience. This is a physically demanding but rewarding position, ideal for candidates with energy, attentiveness, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo as per standard procedures
- Ensure proper tagging and handling of goods, reporting any damage or safety concerns
- Maintain clean, organized working areas within the airport premises
- Collect and replenish trolleys and baby strollers across terminal zones
- Identify and report damaged equipment or replace as necessary
- Accurately follow billing and cash handling procedures
- Use PPE and adhere strictly to airport safety protocols
- Assist in handling pharmaceutical cargo as per EU GDP standards when required
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in a porter or similar role is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift 30+ kilograms of baggage or equipment
- Basic English literacy for reading and following instructions
- Willingness to work rotational shifts in a fast-paced airport setting
- A neat, professional appearance and a customer-service-focused attitude
