Job Responsibilities
Logistics & Transportation Operations
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating daily transportation and delivery activities
- Planning and allocating company fleet and third-party transport resources
- Creating shipment plans and transport orders in ERP systems
- Maximizing vehicle utilization and full truckload efficiency
- Monitoring customer deliveries and replenishment schedules
- Coordinating with warehouse teams, drivers, and dispatchers
- Managing reverse logistics and backload opportunities
- Maintaining transportation documentation and records
Fleet & Compliance Management
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations
- Monitoring vehicle permits, licenses, and insurance documents
- Tracking traffic fines and transportation-related records
- Supervising loading and unloading activities
- Maintaining vehicle inspection checklists and trip sheets
Cost Control & Reporting
The role also involves:
- Monitoring logistics and transportation costs
- Supporting budget tracking activities
- Preparing transportation and fleet performance reports
- Monitoring logistics KPIs such as:
- On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery rates
- Fleet utilization
- Transport cost per ton/kilometer

Documentation & Administration

- Filing Proof of Delivery (POD) documents
- Maintaining shipment and permit records
- Coordinating carrier invoice processing
