SECURITY AGENT
Job Purpose
As a Security Agent, you will play a vital role in safeguarding Emirates’ people, assets, and services from acts of unlawful interference. The Emirates Group operates one of the most advanced and comprehensive aviation security frameworks in the industry, which includes:
- Security Training
- Group Security Command Center
- Airport Security Unit
- Crime Prevention & Investigation Unit
- Threat & Risk Assessment Unit
- Aviation Security Compliance & Assurance
- Business Support Unit
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aviation security duties such as access control, screening, guarding, escorting aircraft, and cargo inspections.
- Monitor airside and landside facilities, including cargo warehouses, catering zones, and engineering hangars.
- Record and report suspicious activities or potential breaches.
- Guide third-party security staff (e.g., Transguard Patrol) in day-to-day operations.
- Act as a fire warden during emergencies.
- Participate in Quality Control Circle (QCC) activities to improve processes.
- Safeguard valuable and vulnerable cargo, including arms and ammunition.
- Conduct aircraft searches and passenger security checks, including baggage and liquids/gels compliance.
- Manage and protect lost property until safely returned to its owner.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of aviation security experience.
- Knowledge of airline handling procedures, screening methods, and access control is advantageous.
