Role Overview

The Storekeeper will handle warehouse inventory operations, stock management, inbound and outbound logistics, and warehouse coordination activities. The role requires strong organizational skills, inventory accuracy, and knowledge of warehouse systems such as SAP or ERP software.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP or ERP systems
  • Conduct stock verification and cycle counts
  • Monitor stock shortages, damages, and discrepancies
  • Apply FIFO and FEFO inventory practices
  • Maintain inventory documentation and traceability

Inbound Logistics

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials
  • Verify specifications, quantities, and batch numbers
  • Coordinate unloading and storage operations
  • Report damaged or non-conforming materials
  • Update inventory systems accurately

Outbound Logistics

  • Prepare materials for dispatch and internal transfers
  • Handle picking, packing, labeling, and documentation
  • Maintain records of issued and returned stock
  • Ensure timely and secure material movement

Warehouse Operations

  • Organize warehouse layout efficiently
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and 5S standards
  • Support material handling activities
  • Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment where authorized

Health & Safety

  • Follow company HSE procedures and workplace safety standards
  • Use PPE and maintain safe working practices
  • Support audits and compliance activities
  • Report hazards, incidents, and safety concerns immediately

Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Diploma in logistics or warehouse management preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems advantageous

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of warehouse or storekeeping experience required
  • Manufacturing or security-sensitive industry experience preferred
  • Warehouse inventory and logistics operations experience necessary
