Chief Driver
The Chief Driver position is an operations-focused role responsible for driver allocation, manpower planning, attendance monitoring, and equipment coordination. The role supports real-time aircraft handling requirements and ensures smooth ramp movement operations.
Chief Drivers play a vital role in maintaining uninterrupted flight operations, especially during peak schedules and irregular operations.
Key Responsibilities and Daily Duties
Major responsibilities include:
- Allocating Loader/Drivers according to aircraft type, load requirement, and scheduled departure time (STD)
- Managing allocations through the Resource Management System (RMS)
- Monitoring attendance and manpower availability
- Coordinating with Team Leaders during delays or flight disruptions
- Adjusting allocations during irregular operations
- Ensuring drivers are assigned for vehicle fuel refilling during free periods
- Dispatching equipment to Engineering for routine servicing
- Maintaining discipline, communication, and team coordination
This position requires quick decision-making, operational awareness, and strong team-handling ability.

Minimum Qualification

- Familiarity with all ramp areas at DXB
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure
Language Advantage
