Receiving / Storekeeper
The Receiving – Storekeeper job in Dubai is essential for maintaining smooth and efficient hotel operations. As part of the hotel’s support services team, you will be responsible for handling deliveries, performing quality checks, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring proper storage procedures. This role supports critical hotel areas including culinary operations, housekeeping, engineering, and guest services.

Key Responsibilities :-
📦 Receiving Goods & Inventory Control
- Receive merchandise as per departmental requisitions and verify quantities.
- Label, tag, and arrange goods in allocated storage areas.
- Update stock records, prepare requisition forms, and manage daily inventory logs.
- Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) rotation for all perishable and non-perishable items.
- Reject incorrect, damaged, or expired goods and report issues immediately.
🛒 Quality & Hygiene Compliance
- Inspect all deliveries to ensure they meet quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with Marriott’s food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize cold rooms, freezer spaces, shelves, and storage areas.
🗂 Documentation & Support
- Monitor minimum stock levels and alert supervisors when replenishment is needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation for received and issued items.
- Organize store areas, remove empty pallets, and ensure safe handling of materials.
🤝 Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with chefs, purchasing officers, and department heads.
- Ensure timely distribution of supplies across departments.
- Maintain a professional attitude and follow company grooming standards.
